The European Employment Services (EURES) is a European network of cooperation between the European Commission, the European Labour Authority (ELA) and other employment services in all EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
EURES facilitates the free movement of workers by providing information and employment support services to workers and employers and by strengthening cooperation and exchange of information between its organised members.
In practice, EURES delivers its services through the portal and through a human network of around 1000 EURES advisers offering a wide range of information and job search opportunities.
